Magic Mouse

The all new Apple mouse the Magic Mouse.

We have all heard of the mighty mouse that Apple has been putting out. It had a good feel to the hand and worked off of a cord or wireless. Then someone charged them with copyright infringement. So they had to come out with an all new mouse.

The Magic Mouse.
Is Apple's new mouse. It is extremely low profile. It has many no answers in a good way. For example there is no clunky scroll wheel, no cord, and no visible buttons.

Yes no buttons.
The whole thing is one big button and it has a right click.
The mouse is all Multi- Touch. This means that you can control every thing from gestures with your fingers. This is just like the mouse pad that you will find on all the new MacBooks. you can scroll with the swipe of a finger, go through photos with two fingers, and you can click or double- click any where on the mouse.

This mouse is laser tracking. This means that you will be able to move your mouse seamlessly on any surface. This also means that it will be extremely accurate.

It runs wireless but not with one of those USB receivers. It uses Bluetooth technology to connect to your Mac.

It even comes with a built in software so you can customize it to your liking.

This now ships with all the new IMacs. You can buy it on its own for only $69.

Apple Tablet

The all rumoured Apple tablet to be coming out in late 2010?

The Apple tablet has be in the rumour for many years now. With the tablet pictures leaked form Microsoft earlier this year people have been wondering even more.

Now Digitims claims that the launch Apple was planning on in March may be postponed to the second half of 2010.

Why is this?
There are several reasons why this may be happening. One of them may be that they aren't ready to let it out and they need more time.

Apple is rumored to be working with Foxconn Electronics, Quanta Computer, and Pegatron Technology in the manufacturing of this. There is rumor that there will be two different models. One with a 10.6 inch TFT LCD and the other to have a 9.7 inch OLED screen.

Another reason for delay would be that with the cost of the OLED screen being so high it could bring the cost of that model up to nearly $2000. The 10.6 inch model could be in the $800 to $1000 cost range.

There is also talk that there may be a discount off the price with a 3G contract like there has been on the IPhone in the past.

My thoughts on this are different that I normally feel about Apple products. My first imprison was when I saw this was the price. When ever I think of a netbook I think of something that is low in cost. This would be the total opposite if those prices are correct. My other feeling is that when I type on my IPod Touch I like the screen size and how I just have to use my thumbs. Then when i get to my computer I use my whole hand. I just think that that with an on screen keyboard that size it would feel odd to type on. Those are just my thoughts with just what has been rumored. I would love to see this all come true though.

These are just rumors and things can change. This may not be what happens at all or nothing may even happen and there may be no Apple Tablet.

The new line up of Macs

Hey guys,
Sorry that I haven't been posting anything I have been really busy with school but I hope now to be able to post some more.

Now for what we are here for. Apple has just updated most of their computer line up. Let's start of with the MacBook. For this computer they left it the white plastic but have made it unibody like all their other macs. Now the corners are curved an it just looks and feels that much better. Although a price drop would be nice it still comes in at a really good price for a mac at $999. Here are the tech specs:
2.26GHz : 250GB
2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR3 memory
250GB hard drive1
8x double-layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics
Built-in 7-hour battery2
Polycarbonate unibody enclosure

Now for the IMacs. There have been some real big changes made to this line up. Now the only two screen sizes that they sell are a 21" and a 27". They don't sell the 24" model any more. Now here is the cool part you can spec out your IMac so that it is equal to the base line of the Mac Pro. The starting price for an IMac is $1,999.
Here are the tech specs for that:

21.5" screen 3.06 GHz
3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1920 x 1080 resolution
4GB memory
500GB hard drive
8x double- layer SuperDrive
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics

After those two got there updates the Mac Mini got its update. This is apples little desktop computer. It is about the size of the Apple TV. This little desktop desktop computer ships with Mac OS X Snow Leopard. Starting as low as $599 and if you add the Mac sever to it it is still only $999. It is the cheapest mac that you can buy. Now there is only one down fall with this mac, it doesn't come with a screen so you would have to buy one separate. Now for the specs:
2.26 GHz: 160GB
2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB memory
160GB hard drive
8x double- layer superdrive
NVIDIA GEForce 9400M graphics
